I recently moved and did not receive my copy of the clarinet. All my other mail was forwarded. Why wasn't The Clarinet forwarded? While it is true that all first class mail is automatically forwarded by the US postal service, many publications generated by not-for-profit organizations are not automatically forwarded. This is because the publications are usually sent "bulk rate" rather than "first class." How soon do I have to send in my address change in order for it to take effect? Since the publishing house requests membership labels approximately 4 weeks prior to mailing, all address changes must be received by the membership coordinator at least a month in advance. If I send in my address change late, am I entitled to another copy of The Clarinet? Unfortunately, no. The International Clarinet Association provides one copy of the magazine per active member. If an address change is not received at least a month in advance, no replacement will be issued. Is it possible for me to order an extra copy or back issue of The Clarinet? Yes. Individual articles are not available, only entire issues. |
