Lodging

Oak Street Residence Hall – Rooms are set up suite-style with two rooms sharing a bathroom. Rooms are assigned by gender by suite unless otherwise specified by guest. Each room is furnished with twin beds with extra long mattress, desk, chair, chest of drawers, built-in closet, and microfridge. Heating/cooling controls are in the room. Wheelchair accessible.

Cherry Street Residence Hall – Rooms are assigned by gender by floor. Communal bathrooms are provided for each floor. Each room is furnished with twin beds with extra long mattress, desk, chair, built-in closet, chest of drawers, and microfridge. Heating/cooling controls are in the room. NOT wheelchair accessible.

Please realize that you CANNOT have a private bathroom in the UMKC dorms. All rooms come with linens (bed sheets, one blanket, one pillow, one pillowcase, two towels, and one washcloth).

ON CAMPUS -
NOTE: We are no longer accepting dorm room reservations.

Dormitory housing will be available through the University of Missouri–Kansas City Residential Life office. If you would like to stay in the dorms, please fill out and mail/fax the Individual Dormitory Housing RESERVATION FORM. The dormitory housing reservation deadline is MAY 30, and full payment with a valid credit card is required at the time of reservation. Room assignments will be made after May 30. While we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide you with your exact requests, we will do our very best to meet your preferences as indicated. Space is limited, so please make your reservations early. If space is not available or if we cannot deliver your “only option” request (see reservation form), you will be notified and your credit card will not be charged. (NOTE: The earliest possible check-in date is July 1 and is based on availability. The latest possible check-out date is July 6. Everyone must be checked out by 12:00 p.m. on July 6.)

OFF CAMPUS -
The official hotel for the ClarinetFest® 2008 is the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza, located on 4445 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64111. Our negotiated rate is $119/night for up to four people per room. You may make reservations by calling 800-810-3708 or 816-531-3000 and mentioning “International Clarinet Association”. The negotiated rate is only guaranteed through June 10, so please make your reservations early.

NEW! The ICA also has a room block with Holiday Inn at the Plaza, for a negotiated rate of $119/night. The hotel is located on One East 45th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111, and is across the street from the Marriott. Reservations can be made by calling 816-753-7400. Please mention that you are with the "International Clarinet Association" to get the negotiated rate until June 20.
