I recently joined the International Clarinet Association.  When can I expect to receive my first issue of The Clarinet?
That would depend on when your membership was processed.   Please refer to the chart below to see when you should expect your first issue.           
If your membership is processed… …your first issue will be:
November 16 - February 15 March
February 16 - May 15 June
May 16 - August 15 September
August 16 - November 15 December
I noticed that my expiration date is not exactly one year from when I joined.  How are expiration dates configured?
All memberships expire in the months of March, June, September, and December, to correlate with our quarterly journal.  For example, if you join on January 20 for one year, your membership will expire on March 31 the following year.
How long does it take for address changes to take effect?
If you update your member profile online, the changes are effective immediately in our database.  However, the deadlines for address changes for The Clarinet journal mailing lists are as follows:
March issue – February 15
June issue – May 15
September issue – August 15
December issue – November 15
I submitted my address change late and missed an issue of The Clarinet.  Am I entitled to another copy?
Unfortunately, no.  The International Clarinet Association provides one copy of the magazine per active member.  If an address change is not received by the deadlines listed above, no replacement will be issued.
Does The Clarinet get forwarded by the post office if mail forwarding is in place? 
Within the United States, our publication does get forwarded if you have mail forwarding in place.  However, we recommend that you always notify us of any changes in your contact information since mail forwarding is not 100% effective.  You can update your member profile online or email us at membership@clarinet.org.
Is it possible for me to purchase an extra copy or back issue of The Clarinet?
Yes.  Please click here for a printable copy of the back issue order form.  If you are unable to print or view this form, please contact the editor of The Clarinet at editor@clarinet.org.
How do I change my listing in the online membership directory?
You can change your membership directory preferences anytime by updating your member profile online.  By default, all members will be listed by name, city, state, and country, but you can choose to display additional information if you wish.
