ClarinetFest® 2011

Air Transportation –
Los Angeles has several airports including the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the largest airport serving the Los Angeles area. The Bob Hope Airport in Burbank (BUR) is located in “The Valley” northeast of downtown Los Angeles and is also a good option. Other options include LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT), Long Beach Airport (LGB), John Wayne Airport (SNA), and Santa Monica Municipal Airport (SMO).

Transportation from airport to CSUN –
SuperShuttle (800-258-3826 or 818-556-6600) provides transportation from LAX and BUR airports directly to CSUN for $46 (LAX) or $24 (BUR). Prior reservations are required. Another option is the LAX Flyaway Bus (866-435-9529), which picks up passengers at the LAX airport terminals and travels to the Van Nuys Flyaway bus terminal (located at 7610 Woodley Avenue in Van Nuys) for $7. From there, you can travel by taxi cab to CSUN for approximately $30. A taxi cab ride from LAX/BUR directly to CSUN is approximately $85 (LAX) or $46 (BUR).

ClarinetFest® 2011 Shuttle –
A complimentary shuttle will service the official hotel (Warner Center Marriott Woodland Hills) and the Valley Arts Performing Arts Center at CSUN. Please inquire at the ClarinetFest® registration desk for the shuttle schedule.

CSUN Campus Parking –
Attendees should park in the G3 Parking Structure or Lot G4, both of which can be seen in the CSUN Campus Parking Map. The daily parking fee is $6 per vehicle, and permits can be purchased with an attendant at the entrance to the G3 structure or any of the permit dispensers located on campus. You can park anywhere on campus using the same permit. All vehicles must display a valid permit to park on campus.
