ClarinetFest® 2011

Dear Music Industry Members:

We would like to cordially invite you to reserve your exhibit space for ClarinetFest® 2011, the annual conference of the International Clarinet Association.  This year’s conference will take place on August 3-7, at the California State University-Northridge campus, and we estimate that over 1,300 people will attend. 

Location –
The exhibits will be held in The Activity Center, a gymnasium on the first level of Redwood Hall (See CSUN map.) Redwood Hall is also where registration will be held (not in Valley Performing Arts Center, as originally planned).  Due to the large number of events scheduled, various buildings on the CSUN campus will be used, including Plaza del Sol Performance Hall and Grand Salon, which are directly south of Redwood Hall and about a one-minute walk from the exhibit hall.  Also utilized will be the newly built Valley Performing Arts Center, which is about an 8-minute walk from the exhibits.

Deadline –
The deadline for booth and advertisement reservations is May 31.  Reservations received after this date will be considered only if space is available.

Booth Reservation & Program Book Advertising –

Soon after the May 31 deadline and after booth reservations have been made, you will receive a packet from CDS Events, who will be able to assist you with all your shipping and material handling needs.  You will also have the option to order extra materials and services for your booth, such as additional furniture and electricity.

Promotional Items –
Something new that we are offering to program book advertisers is to purchase the opportunity to place one promotional item inside the official ClarinetFest® bag.  If you are interested in this opportunity, please indicate this on your Program Book Advertising & Promotional Item Insertion Order Form. 

A Clarinet Celebration at the Hollywood Bowl – 
There will be a special event at the Hollywood Bowl on the evening of Thursday, August 4, featuring Kari Kriikku and Paul Meyer with the L.A. Philharmonic.  Attendance is optional and the fee is $25 per person (includes transportation and entrance to the concert).  Tickets for exhibitors should be purchased through the Exhibitor Space Reservation Form by May 31.  All sales are final.  For more information regarding this event, please visit our Hollywood Bowl page.
